Nolan, this is probably the most viable option that I have to record the coffehouse

I have 4 XLR mic cables and 4 XLR to 1/4 inch cables, all 10 feet... but we're probably going to need longer cables than those... and I'm not sure a couple sm-57's are going to cut it for recording people's voices/whatever else.
The other condition applicable here is whether I'll even be able to remove my stuff from my band's studio... I'll obviously have to run it by them and probably get some help with the event too.
