Post  Nolan Pierce on Fri Nov 14, 2008 4:45 am

On Wednesday 12 Gabriel Bol Deng the founder for Hope for Ariang visited us and discussed with us about our project to help him build a school in Sudan.

After school we had a meeting where we discussed possible fundraisers we can do for Gabriel's Project
Thankfully Aubrey took down the the HUGE list of idea's on the board

I just recently spoke with the director of the Human Rights department at Uconn, and they do a Human Rights week every year in April. After informing him of our Gabriel's project, he sounded eager to help and get involved - so there is a lot of possibilities here. I'll continue to be in contact with him, maybe we could work out a collaborative fundraising effort in conjunction with the week of human rights at Uconn.

In contact with E.O Smith's NHS

Post  Nolan Pierce on Tue Nov 18, 2008 12:53 am

I've also been in contact with Rachel Rosen, who says that the NHS is also looking for projects that they can support for their yearly Global Issue's. I'm going to be sending her some of the information about Gabriel and his school, and also some of the facts from Three Cups of Tea.

keep up the good work
